Valentine Card 2012

Archivers make and take!

Today was make and take day at Archivers. There were lots of people waiting to do the card but I waited right along with them. It sort of had an unfinished look (completely understandable) so I brought it home and made a few additions.  Once the glitter around the edges is dry, I will add a solid color cardstock to the inside of the card to give it a more substantial feel and give me something to stamp or write a greeting and sign the card.

Scrapbook shopping day!

Today, I hit Archivers and Joann's fabrics in Mason, Ohio!  Below are photos of my stash!  The first photo of the two cards shows you what I intend to use the punch for.

Glitter Glue - a first for me!

 These will be used in a shadowbox for my Kitchen. Underneath the stickers are little metal kitchen gadgets that alread have a glue dot attached!

These can be used with my Smash Book or for just scrapbook/card layouts!



Now that I have all this new stuff, guess I should make something huh?

Here we go!!

This is my first attempt at Blogging!  I wanted to share some of the things I do and thought I'd give this a shot!

The first thing I wanted to share was this little ribbon holder. I'm still trying to come up with a great place to hang it so that the ribbon doesn't brush against the wall. All ideas are welcome!

You guessed it! It's made from a pants hanger!  So far, I like it better than any other thing I've tried for easy access to my crafting ribbon.
